Filmmaker Warren Pereira was looking for a subject tiger to make a feature documentary on tiger conservation. Part of his research involved trips to Kahna where he discovered our lodge. We struck up a friendship and enjoyed talking about tigers, film and existentialism over lovely meals between safaris at our lodge. I noticed that guests found Warren's insights and humor fascinating and then when he went on to become the Director of TIGER 24 we found certain guests asking for his presence in the lodge and on tiger safari. He spent a decade chronicling the life of alleged "man-eating" tiger T24 resulting in the documentary TIGER 24 which went on to win the Panda Award at Wildscreen, became a Finalist at Jackson Wild Media Awards and won Best Documentary at Burbank International Film Festival. The film went on to be picked by Netflix USA, Netflix Canada and Prime Video India after a theatrical release by AA Films.
